Ohio Gratings, Inc. has a new division of their company called OGi Architectural Metal Solutions. This division has been created to expand into the architectural metals market providing aluminum, carbon and stainless steel products for projects requiring architectural applications such as sunshades, grilles, fencing, handrail infill, building facades, louvers, fountains, tree grates and ADA walking surfaces.

In conjunction with this newly created architectural metal division, another joint venture with Ohio Gratings, Inc. took place in 2007 with American Metalco, Florida. American Metalco brings experience in architectural design, planning, engineering, fabrication, project management and installation services while providing architectural systems for a product line of screening, grilles, louvers, cladding systems, awnings, canopies, sunshades, bahama shutters, metal fencing, walkways and signature structures.

Custom fabrication and special finishes are available for all our architectural metal product lines. Our architectural metal products are aesthetically appealing, easy to install, lightweight yet strong, field adaptable, require minimal maintenance and are reasonably priced.

LOUVERS

Louver products are manufactured from aluminum extrusions. Louvers come with a two-piece integrated aluminum frame, are available in various finishes to enhance the overall appearance and offer total or partial visual concealment while allowing a minimum of 63% open air flow. These products are ideal for visual barriers requiring open airflow, enhanced security and are resistant to corrosion in both harsh tropical & winter environments.

GRILLES

Aluminum Egg-Crate grilles are manufactured from both aluminum extrusions and cold-formed carbon steel. With a wide variety of mesh openings, wind, snow and water pass through with ease, substantially reducing wind and snow loading concerns. Grilles are ideally suited for exterior applications where security, shading and privacy are paramount while being aesthetically pleasing. The open mesh grilles allow for natural ventilation, day lighting and site lines in and out. Aluminum grilles are a “Green” application by reducing interior heat gain and solar glare. In cold environments, the open design of screens will minimize excessive “snow loading” issues.

FENCING

Our architectural metal fencing products are manufactured from both aluminum extrusions and cold-formed carbon steel. With a wide variety of mesh openings, our fence systems can meet the highest level of security needs or create a decorative metal screen while being a product for long term durability.

HANDRAILS

Our architectural metal handrails offer an open, yet secure panel infill. The handrail products are manufactured from both aluminum extrusions and cold-formed carbon steel for extra strength and longevity. With a wide variety of mesh openings, our handrail systems can meet any loading criteria and be attractive at the same time.

SUNSCREENS/SUNSHADES

Our architectural metal sunscreens/sunshades offer up to 100% solar block. These products are manufactured from both aluminum extrusions and thin gauge cold-formed carbon steel. With a diverse mix of mesh openings and profiles to choose from, these sunscreen/sunshade systems can meet any solar loading criteria while providing an attractive and contemporary system. Blade spacing and profile may be varied to produce a wide array of light levels and shading. Select blade profile, outrigger and fascia designs or integrate custom components.

WALKWAYS

ADA walkways can be manufactured from aluminum, carbon and/or stainless steel. These products conform to the requirements of The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) allowing wheelchair accessibility and high heel traffic.

FOUNTAINS

Our architectural metal products for fountains are ideal for a wide variety of public projects in which traditional walking surfaces are required. These products are manufactured from aluminum extrusions and stainless steel (304 and 316 alloy).

TREE GRATES

Our architectural metal products for tree grates are ideal for a wide variety of public projects in which traditional walking surfaces are required. These products are manufactured from aluminum extrusions, cold-formed carbon steel and stainless steel (304 and 316 alloy). Available for both standard pedestrian and vehicular loading.

BUILDING FACADES

The aesthetic appeal of aluminum and stainless steel makes these materials ideal for building facades. Perfect for revamping existing buildings offering a new look or designed into new construction for a fresh contemporary design.
