INVEST IN WORKPLACE SAFETY

ALGRIP® Traction

Ohio Gratings, Inc. Logo - White

Using a patented laser deposition process, we weld ALGRIP® traction features to metal grating or plate flooring to provide unparalleled slip resistance in wet or dry conditions.

With ALGRIP® traction surface treatment, users can enjoy increased traction that meets or exceeds OSHA and ADA requirements for traction safety in all directions. ALGRIP® works by adhering small metal traction features to the surface of base metal or grating. As a result, shoes or tires can encircle and grab these welded traction features for enhanced grip. Our clients commonly use ALGRIP® to increase the dynamic coefficient of friction (DCOF) in a variety of industries including food processing, pharmaceutical, mass transit, utilities, power plants, manufacturing and heavy construction.
