Get the strength and rigidity of welded grating with the smooth, clean lines of a flush top rectangular crossbar, a hallmark of our dovetail bar grating systems.

Aluminum Dove Tail is a popular architectural style for its aesthetic appeal and ability to maintain tight tolerances. Dove Tail panels are constructed using precision slotted bearing bars and crossbars that are assembled in egg-crate fashion and hydraulically pressed together to form a tightly locked grid. This method creates an interlocking dovetail grating system that offers superior stability and visual appeal. This grating is available in 1/4″ or 1/2″ openings with our Grater Access® option to select 2″ or 4″ centers for ADA compliance.

Dovetail pressure locked grating offers the high strength and stiffness of welded steel grating with the smooth, clean lines of a flush top rectangular cross bar. A variety of bar depths, finishes, and spacings are available including ¼” and ½” which conform to ADA requirements. This robust option exemplifies our advanced dovetail bar grating engineered for extreme conditions.

Stainless steel grating is the standard industrial footwalk product for corrosive environments and is a popular grating choice for chemical plants, food processing facilities, oil and gas productions and commercial and architectural applications. Its construction as an interlocking dovetail grating ensures consistent performance even in harsh environments.

National Museum

World War II

When Architect/Engineer Voorsanger Mathes LLC secured their design plans for the new WWII museum in New Orleans, they partnered with us to make their breakthrough design a reality. Our team produced a number of metal features using specific metallic silver and battleship gray colors to fit the museum’s brand and achieve the interior design. We developed custom ceiling grilles and aluminum dove tail handrail infilling to ensure the National World War II Museum did justice to our fallen soldiers.

The SmithGroup architects needed sleek, reliable aluminum grating to achieve their innovative design on Mesa Community College’s campus. We partnered with the firm to supply 1,168 square feet of LEED aluminum grating for modern scrims at the planetarium, impressive staircases and a walkable observation platform. The Physical Science building is the first of its kind on campus and was the first major LEED project in the Maricopa County Community College District.
